From the superman floating position start kicking. Lift your head straight up to breathe. Do not let shoulders rock excessively while kicking – keep them as still / relaxed as you can. Kick GENTLY and focus more on body position than kick mechanics. If you are keeping your body position in check (flat at the water’s surface) then you can kick a little harder and think more about your kicking mechanics. You can also do this in a full streamline position instead of arms being parallel.
